The Foundation is delighted with the number and quality of entries received from across Australia in response to the 2003 Civil Justice Essay Competition. Thank you to all those who participated for your enthusiasm. The winning essay was written by James Goudkamp, a student of the University of Wollongong (UOW) law school. James will receive a cash prize of $500 and will attend the National Conference of the Australian Plaintiff Lawyers Association at the Hyatt Coolum Resort, 16-19 October 2003.
